NFL Playoffs Conference Championships – DraftKings Value Picks
Welcome to this weeks NFL Value picks for the conference championship round. Before we get into this week, let’s take a look back at last week and see how we did.
QB: Dak Prescott $6,000 – 29.38 pts
RB: Spencer Ware $5,200 – 11.6 pts
WR: Michael Floyd $3,800 – 1.9 pts
WR: Terrance Williams $3,100 – 10.8 pts
TE: Jared Cook $3,900 – 25.4 pts
Not too shabby last week. Michael Floyd was the biggest disappointment on the weekend with his lowly 1.9 total. Spencer Ware didn’t perform great either, but he found the end zone and at least wasn’t a total dud.
Prescott and Cook both led there positions in scoring… and they were VALUE picks!
I hope everyone had success last week, now on to this week’s games.
I’m not too thrilled about this week with having only 2 games left. That means there will likely be a log jam at the top in terms of ties and the NFL DFS season is coming to an end.
The value at QB this week is Tom Brady $7,100. You could go Big Ben at $5,800 and bank on game flow being in his favor, playing from behind and passing more, but I’m not. I’m going with the home favorite in Tom Brady who’s coming off a down week last week. Brady only scored 17 fantasy points last week while completing just 47% of his passes. I’ll bet on the GOAT to significantly improve those numbers this week.
At running back there really isn’t any question who the value play is, it’s Tevin Coleman $4,800. He’s an amazing value at that price. Coleman plays a good amount and sees plenty of red zone opportunities. The value is undeniable here.
Sticking with the Falcons, my first value at wide receiver is Taylor Gabriel $4,900. I’m looking for Gabriel to break a big play to the house this week! In his last 4 weeks of action Gabriel saw 6, 4, 6, and 6 targets. He’s getting targets and he has BIG play potential for a cheap price.
My second value at wide receiver is Chris Hogan $3,900. Hogan is the #2 option behind Edelman (Who I also love) with a determined Brady behind center.
My Value tight end is a bare bone bottom feeder at $2,500 – Austin Hooper! Did you guys see L. Toilolo last week? He was getting looks! 4 targets on the high flying Atlanta offense. And what – 2 drops!?! Toilolo isn’t good, but he’s seeing looks. I expect HOOPER to see those looks this week instead of Toilolo, the only difference is I think Hooper can do something with them. It looks like he’s healthy according to practice reports and you’re going to need a sleeper to win the big tourney’s this week. Throw a couple bucks at Hooper.
Thanks for reading and good luck this week!
