2016 NFL Week 17 Playoff Picture – Teams to Consider

Let’s take a look at the final week of the 2016 NFL regular season and how the upcoming playoffs could impact teams play.

Top Teams I’m considering for DFS

Teams with something to play for:

ATL – Clinches 1st round bye with win.

DET – Clinches division with win.

GB – Clinches division with win.

KC – Clinches 1st round bye with win and OAK loss.

NE – Clinches home field throughout playoffs with win.

SEA – Clinches 1st round bye with a win and ATL loss.

TB – Can possibly make the playoffs with a win and losses from about 6 other teams.

WAS – Clinches playoff berth with win.

Teams with not much to play for:

NO – Playing division rival Atlanta who does have something on the line. The Saints can knock the Falcons back a peg with a win here.

CHI – Matt Barkley and the wide receivers from the Bears are all playing for positions next year. They have a lot to prove in the final week regardless of their 3-12 record.

BAL – Steve Smith Sr will be playing his last NFL game this week. I’ll be betting on him to go out with a bang.
