#5 Laquan Treadwell WR Minnesota Vikings
Treadwell is NFL ready and should start right away opposite Stefon Diggs. Couple that with Teddy Bridgewater having another year of solid experience and Adrian Peterson demanding the defenses respect. Opens the door for Treadwell to have one on one looks early and often.
#4 Kenneth Dixon RB Baltimore Ravens
The running back position is a young mans spot and lucky for Dixon, the Ravens don’t have anyone! Justin Forsett and Javorius Allen are hardly full season starters and I think this is Dixon’s position to claim. Marc Trestman running the offense in Baltimore further increases Dixon’s odds of becoming the starter due to his versatility.
#3 Derrick Henry RB Tennessee Titans
So much for DeMarco Murray, but really who can blame the Titans for drafting Henry? He’s a monster and Murray looked garbage last year with the Eagles. Tenessee is a team on the rise with budding star Marcus Mariota and I expect Henry to carry the ball a lot this season.
#2 Sterling Shepard WR New York Giants
Great landing spot here for Shepard as he fits perfectly into Ben McAdoo‘s system. Excellent route runner with good run after the catch ability, expect Shepard to see many short passes with an opportunity to turn those into huge gains. Especially with all the attention Odell Beckham Jr will receive this year, Sterling Shepard has a real chance to shine.
#1 Ezekiel Elliot RB Dallas Cowboys
How can you not go Zeek at the #1 spot? This was the best possible landing spot for the #1 RB in the Draft… and it happened! Dallas wants to run the ball behind arguably the best offensive line in the NFL and now they have a beast to toke the rock. I expect Elliot to make the biggest impact among rookies this year and win the rookie of the year award.
