On paper the Miami Dolphins are Fantasy Fun! Ryan Tannehill has running backs Jay Ajayi and Arian Foster. Damien Williams and rookie Kenyan Drake round out the committee. The underrated and under valued Jarvis Landry is #1 Fantasy WR. Devante Parker looked good in 2015 and is a wr #3 with wr #1 upside. The phins could have a top wr tandem in 2016. Jordan Cameron at tight end with rookie lineman Laremy Tunsil, center Mike Pouncey and Branden Albert at left tackle for the offensive line. Moon Man is thinking Devante Parker has the biggest upside.
Parker may score 8 touchdowns plus. Fantasy Friends know Jarvis Landry is going to get targets in 2016. We also know he is getting overlooked in Fantasy Drafts. Moon Man isn’t sold on Ryan Tannehill’s fantasy value but why? Tannehill has started every NFL game in his 4 year career (3,294 – 3,913 – 4,045 and 4,208 yards in 2015). His passing yards has risen each year, TD – INT Ratio respectable for (TD = 6 points leagues), he is mobile and has completed 61.9% of his career passes. Is it not his time?
A former quarterback’s coach in Adam Gase at the healm, two viable fantasy football options at wide receiver, versatile tight ends, an improved offense line and running back options to carry into pre-season. The Miami Dolphins look splendid on paper. Kenny Stills and rookie WR Leontee Carroo help in real world football which is good for Tannehill. Fantasy Friends want him to take less sacks! Tannehill has been sacked an average of 49.5 times over the last 3 seasons.
The Dolphins also have IDP options in 2016. Cameron Wake, Mario Williams and Ndamukong Suh, Jelani Jenkins, Kiko Alonso and Reshad Jones. Defensive Safety Reshad Jones is the standout. A top 3 IDP for defensive backs after last season. Kiko is worth the risk because of his output when healthy. These are your two potential IDP studs.
Moon Man has tempered expectations for Tannehill in 2016 because he has been average for his career. But with The New England Patriots being the team to beat, Buffalo’s defense is improving and the Dolphins schedule. The stars appear to be aligning. The Dolphins face the Patriots without Tom Brady in week 2 at Foxborough. Good news for Fantasy Friends who select Tannehill. The Buffalo Bills and New York Jets have good defenses which keeps expectations lowered. Otherwise when checking out the Miami Dolphins schedule. It’s a fantasy path to points!

Week 15
–Dolphins @ Jets means East Rutherford in December and a defensive battle.
Week 16
–Dolphins @ Bills means stay calm with Ryan Tannehill. He offers DFS value depending on the matchup. Moon Man likes Tannehill to show out for Fantasy Friends often in 2016. Moon Man also doesn’t think his overall season will produce fantasy numbers in the top 10 quarterbacks. With all this said, Tannehill is worth a roster spot in certain leagues.
Week 17
–Patriots @ Miami means Tom Brady and company might need this game. Not good news for fantasy friends. If Ryan Tannehill is available in the mid to later draft rounds then scoop him up. There is upside in his 5th year and an owner could draft the Tannehill/Landry/Parker combination. These are not the names flying off draft boards. They offer low risk of damaging your team. Selecting Landry is the only draft pick that requires a high one.
It’s times like these where Moon Man still values Ryan Tannehill as a matchup based starter and starter in multiple QB leagues. Draft him to backup the #1? or pair him with another qb available? Fantasy Friends will be forced to coach if they choose the second option. So only draft him if the draft dictates you should.
Standard scoring leagues in which qbs are on the waiver wire need not draft him. Just pay attention to the option of getting this combination on your squad. Make the move when Tannehill catches fire, start him only to trade or release once he cools off.
Tight End Dion Sims is a mutant!
Jarvis Landry stats:
2014
-112 targets.
-84 receptions, 758 yards – 5 tds.
2015
-167 targets.
-111 receptions, 1,159 yards – 4 tds.
Moon Man thinks Tannehill is similar to Pluto. To welcome him into the Fantasy Solar System is the ? Here is 3 notable combinations that are currently being overlooked.
3) Sam Bradford – Jordan Matthews.
2) Blake Bortles – Allen Hurns.
1) Jared Goff – Tavon Austin.
As Always,
(Teams Going Off + Thoughts Flexed In = Combination Lineups)
May the Fantasy Force be with you.
