Week three is almost around the corner, with that being said, you need to focus on some key players to help your team over the hump and get that Win for the week! I am going to stay within three games and take a couple players out of each, and give you a reason why you should fight for them for this weeks waiver wire for your league. The three games I am staying around this week are OAK VS WAS, NO VS CAR, and MIAMI VS JETS.
Let’s start with the MIAMI VS JETS game. Vegas has this game spread low, which I do not agree on. I think this game is going to be a shootout with a lot of PPR points you can eat up! Let’s start with the first player you should pick up from this game.
QB- Jay Cutler– I know your first thought is who the hell wants interception cutler… Well guys this is not the same cutler new team, old coach and a system I see cutler thriving in. With a week secondary and poor corner backs for the Jets, cutler is going to mop the floor this Sunday. Jets are ranked 15th against the QB but place last in rush yardage allowed and total yards per game allowed which they are ranked 30th. Cutler will have 300 yard game with 2 TDS this Sunday.
WR-Brandon Coleman- Willie Snead is out one more week which mean Coleman gets the second look targets from Drew Brees. Last game he has 4 receptions 82 yards with one touchdown. Coleman is a sneaky play this week i expect the saints to be trailing which means a lot of pass attempts for Coleman.
RB-Chris Thompson- The game i am putting all my marbles on! This might be the best Sunday night football game for this season. We all know the running back situation is horrendous in Washington, but when you have another player that plays like Theo Riddick then he will produce. Last game Chris had 3 rushing attempts for 77 yards with two touchdowns. Also brought in 3 receptions for 29 yards. Rob Kelley is not there running back and with the rookie Pierre getting his feet wet Thompson is your go to waiver wire move this week.
I hope these 3 waiver wire targets help you out this week. Leave comments below and let me know how you did this week if you ended up wavering these three players!
