FFNATION FANTASY DRAFT!

At 9:00 A.M on this pre solar eclipse Sunday morning, i sat down with a iced coffee and greasy hash browns. Today was the day i did my 10 man league PPR draft. When i clicked the login into draft button i was hoping for the number one pick, i was drooling for David Johnson, He is a GOD in PPR. To find out i was as disappointed as getting a 50 dollar hooker off Craigslist, i was drafting 7 out of 10. My first thought was i hope someone passes on O.B.J cause i was looking to get Eli in round 13. Let’s dive into the first 5 rounds and explain my thought Process. I did get best Draft with an A+ grade at the 7th pick beast-mode!

ROUND 1- I am hoping for a skip on O.B.J but didn’t come i was left with A.J Green, Mike Evans, Devonte Freeman, and Melvin Gordon.  Mike Evans will be splitting targets with DeSean Jackson, Freeman looses carries to Tevin Coleman and goal line TDS. Melvin Gordon is on a unstable Franchise who gives up a lot of points which leads to more throwing the ball. The best choice is A.J Green and hope he stays healthy.

ROUND 2- I am now picking fourth and my head is screaming Running back but i still see Jordy Nelson on the board while the 3rd pick is choosing. I know it sounds risky but if they would have passed on Jordy Nelson i would of grabbed him cause of his production and skill set with having Rodgers as your quarterback. I am thankful they did choose Nelson and i was able to grab Murray cause towards the end of round 2 Aaron Rodgers was took at the ninth pick. It was way too early for Elliot and the rookie running backs just haven’t shown enough in Pre-season for me to pass on Demarco murray.

ROUND 3- I am thinking in my head i am shooting for Drew Brees cause Tom Brady has to be picked by the time i draft again at 7. I am watching the picks come down towards me and my eyes glisten like a school girl getting her first orgasm. Tom Brady is still on the board after a top quarterback went at the end of round 2 amazing. My thought process was grab Tom Brady then get Brandon Cooks early round 4 for a QB/WR stack. Pick was on me and got Tom Brady Round 3 pick 7.

ROUND 4- My head is all screwed up with these weird picks and the way people are drafting. There are top WRS/RBS on the board and i am picking 4th. I really want a stack with Brady and someone makes the decision easy for me, they draft Travis Kelce. My eyes flash for the BIG GRONK, yes his back and knee are a issue but i believe we are looking at double digit touchdowns for the GRONK.  If i grab my TE now the next 3 rounds are set up for 2 elite WRS and a tier 2 running back.

ROUND 5- I see Allen Robinson’s name and i know he is the guy i am gunning for picking 7th. Yes i know there is a quarterback dilemma in Jacksonville but with Leonard fournette i believe this opens up more of a passing game for Jacksonville and no other wide receiver is taking away production from Allen Robinson.
