The Buffalo Bills are a defense first team. Drafting Shaq Lawson and Adolphus Washington will bolster the d-line. Marcell Dareus, Kevin Williams and Jerry Hughes is a good rotation. Second round draft pick Reggie Ragland could be the steal of the draft. Preston Brown was a solid IDP last year. Inconsistent at towards the second half of the season. Former Titan Zach Brown racks up tackles too. Another solid IDP. The Bills best fantasy value on defense will come from Corey Graham and Aaron Williams. Graham is a stud IDP. Stephon Gilmore, Ronald Darby and Nickell Robey offer week to week starts. In deep leagues where multiple IDPs are used and house games are scored. Definitely have the Buffalo Bills Defense in the Top 5 to start the year. Rex Ryan’s second season with another core draft class.
Preston Brown, Zach Brown, Reggie Ragland, Aaron Williams, Jerry Hughes and Shaq Lawson are all worth drafting Fantasy Friends. Corey Graham is a must draft. The Linebackers will share tackles so Moon Man doesn’t see a top ten lb in Buffalo. Reggie Ragland has the best chance at accumulating 100+ tackles. Shaq Lawson and Jerry Hughes have double digit sack potential. In the DT world, Dareus gained fantasy value with his surroundings improving. Moon Man likes Dareus to be a top 5 Fantasy Defensive Tackle this season producing 11.5 sacks.
The Buffalo Bills Defense could surprise some people and perform as a #1 or #2 defense early on or at least for a period of 5-6 games when they catch fire.
Bills open the 2016 season @ Baltimore, vs Jets, vs Cardinals, @ New England, @ Rams, vs 49ers and @ Miami. Bills DST could easily be the Top ranked Fantasy option come week 8 vs the Patriots.
Buffalo’s schedule strengthens thereafter @ Seattle, followed by a BYE, @ Cincy, vs Jaguars, @ Oakland, vs Steelers, vs Browns, vs Dolphins and @ New York Jets.
Overall expectations for the Buffalo Bill’s DST should be tempered. Expecting weekly consistency with 20+ points will occur. For the entire season? No, Moon Man thinks for back to back games it could happen twice. Possibly a 3 game set or a 3 outta 5 game run. Draft this DST in Fantasy Football Leagues and DFS lineups when they catch fire.
